This is awesome news for gamers of China and Blizzard Entertainment, as the epic Diablo 3 is set to arrive in China. Basically a licensing agreement between Blizzard Entertainment and NetEase, Inc is what you can thank for the China release. As of now, none of the details have been announced and it is not clear what the pricing will be, nor is it clear what consoles the game will launch on.

It is expected that the Diablo 3 China release will launch on all available platforms, as it has in the United States. This is a great time for the game to launch in China because the new update and Reaper of Souls expansion.

All five of Blizzard’s big series are now launched in China, thanks to this agreement between Blizzard and NetEase. Their other games launched in China are Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, StarCraft 2, Heroes of Warcraft, and Heroes of the Storm.

Blizzard certainly knows how to deliver a great product and drive-in sales, as Diablo 3 has already sold over 15 million units, and 3 and a half of those copies were sold within the first 24 hours. So this is awesome news for Blizzard Entertainment because they are about to launch their game in another huge market, where gamers are definitely anticipating the launch.

The NetEase CEO and founder William Ding has recently announced this information and said “We’ll continue to work closely with Blizzard to prepare for a smooth Diablo 3 launch in China so that local gamers can start playing this epic adventure as soon as possible.”

Right now there isn’t a scheduled launch date, but the CEO made it sound like they doing the best they can to get it released as quickly as possible.
