Blizzard announced that they’re buffing the gold drops by an additional 50% for this weekend only. That means 1 hour runs in adventure mode that usually earn you a normal 2 million should give you 3 million gold.

They buffed legendary item drops and gold when RoS just came out. This could also be an incentive for players to return and interact in the random parties so that Ultimate Evil Edition players have a full community to tap for help.

If they are launching Diablo 3 RoS Patch 2.1 at the end of August, we’ll get to see these features that they’ve been implementing on the PTR:

Greater Rifts – scaling Nephalem rifts that you have to beat within 15 minutes to get to the next dungeon.
Seasons – new content implemented for a brief time that adds new quests, content and exclusive items. Players have to create a new toon from scratch without access to the stash to participate here.
Legendary Gems – infinitely-upgradeable Gems that drop in Greater Rifts and can be improved only with Urshi, who lives in Greater Rifts.
