Blizzard introduced Seasons in Patch 2.1.0, and players now are trying to hit the max level, level 70. After hitting level 70, players can then set out to compete against each other via completing Conquests, getting more achievements, or progressing far in the Greater Rifts.

One of the incentives of playing Season mode is that Seasonal characters have access to a number of Legendaries that won’t be available on other modes until the end of a current Season. Hence, there’s plenty of incentive for reaching level 70. Some players have discovered a way to get from level 1 to 70 in about two hours, according to the internet. The method they used to power level involves going into Adventure Mode.

Adventure Mode gives randomized quests in the entire game world, and two of these quests, “A Miner’s Gold” on the Howling Plateau in Act 2 and “The Miser’s Will” in Act V allow players to very rapidly accumulate experience points and rise up in level.
