The highlight of the 2.1 patch is Seasons. In this mode, players will start with a fresh character and will be unable to access or interact with non-“seasonal” characters, including their own. Seasons will last about three months, with players currently in Season 1. The game mode features unique Conquests and Legendary items, and at the end of a Season, the seasonal characters are merged with the player’s regular account. Also featured in patch 2.1, and directly tied into Seasons, are Leaderboards.
