During the Carnival last year, developers announced there would be a PTR testing of 2.2.0 patch, because large mass of new game contents, such as new monsters and diablo 3 items. As we all known, patch 2.1 has been testing 60 days, since so many new features of 2.2.0, we conclude the testing time will no less than 2.1 patch. Season two will start on 13 February, which will be ended on May or June, wipe our a very long PTR period, we can speculate patch 2.2.0 public testing will be very close!

New changes of patch 2.2.0:

Cold Snap: Transforms the % Element damage of the selected item to the % Cold damage. If used in weapons only transforms the % Element damage not the average damage. As if a weapon has 1250 to 1330 fire damage. It stays as is. But together with that if it has 20% fire damage, this bonus transforms into cold damage. 

Fire Breath: Transforms the % Element damage of the selected item to the % Fire damage.

Holy Light: Transforms the % Element damage of the selected item to the % Holy damage.

Toxin: Transforms the % Element damage of the selected item to the % Poison damage.

Arcano: Transforms the % Element damage of the selected item to the % Arcane damage.

Clash: Transforms the % Element damage of the selected item to the % Physical damage.

Thunder: Transforms the % Element damage of the selected item to the % Lightning damage.
