Diablo3 pre-download problem

So I started downloading the pre-launch download after buying the digital download from battle.net, after about an hour of downloading I got an error saying that this program might not of installed correctly, would I like to reinstall using the recommended settings, I agreed and it started downloading from where it stopped before the error.
Does anyone know what this error was about and whether or not it will impact the game, I obviously don't want to log in to diablo3 as soon as the servers are live and find out I won't be able to play because something went wrong in the install, with my internet it takes a long time too download the 7.60GB so finding out when the servers go live that I have to reinstall will suck!

The pre-download is actually also an installer. So now that it is finished go ahead and luanch the installer. When it is running you should see a massive Install icon, go ahead and click it.

I would say there is nothing to worry about as long as the splash screen comes up that says "The Fire from the sky Still falls. Diablo III has not yet launched."

FYI you will be able to "pre-load" and actually install the game sometime on the 14th. That way everything will be set and ready to go for the 15th when Blizzard "turns-on" their Diablo III servers.
